TRAINED DOGS SOFT TOUCH SAVES WI TURTLES Meet Buster, a Boykin spaniel, who has a special affinity for turtles. In fact, he helped DNR find rare turtles for conservation efforts last spring! There is a lot you can do to help turtles, too! Start by slowing down this spring when you drive by wetland areas where turtles may be crossing the road and avoid hitting them. Learn more about Buster and things you can do in this months edition of the Wisconsin Natural Resources Magazine (dnr.wi.gov/wnrmag/2014/04/Turtle.htm). And if you havent done your taxes yet, you can still make a contribution to the Endangered Resources Fund through your Wisconsin income tax form. Look under “Donations” for Endangered Resources.
