TRAINING COURSES ON "COMMUNITY ORGANIZING" COURSE OUTLINE Course Aim: To equip the capacity of community facilitators on how to build community groups to be sustainable impact, community well being, especially for the most vulnerable. Course Objectives: By the end of the course each participant will be able to: - Explain formation processes and concretism to mobilization - Demonstrate team safe building and trust coaching - Examine how to set effective vision and mission to reach the desirable goal - Synthesize seed project and learning by growing coordination partnering and networking Course Contents: Session 1: Course introduction Session 2: Methods to organize community Session 3: Building good relationship with relevant stakeholders Session 4: Community facilitation skills Session 5: Community power authorization and delegation Session 6: Successful community management and leadership Session 7: Qualitative community training methodologies Session 8: Improvement of community livelihood Target Groups: Managers, team leaders, coordinators, supervisors, and project officers. Methods: Brainstorming, individual work, group work, plenary discussion, role play, drama, small group discussion, presentation Note: The senior professional trainers/facilitators have been experiencing in managing and leading project implementation, staff managing and staff leading to design community organizing many years.
