[TRANS] BTS 10Asia Interview (PART 3) Q.When was the time Rap Monster and Suga fell in love with Hip Hop? Rap Monster : I watched EPIK HIGH and fell in love (with Hip Hop). EPIK HIGHs FLY came out when i was in the 5th grade but i dont have any interest in them but i listened to them by coincidence. It has a great impact. I think this kind of music can express a story. Since then, i played it even when i was showering and printed the lyrics. I think i played it for about 3,000 - 4,000 times. Suga : Do you know Stony Skunk Team? Kush and Skul was a team who perform Reggae Hip Hop. I listened to Reggae Muffin by Stony Skunk and when i watched their performance it feels different. At that time SG Wannabe was the It group but even though, hip hop is different from the trend, i just fell in love with it. So, i listened the songs from Stony Skunks first album and like their songs‘s genre. Thats the same when EPIK HIGH debuted and i listened to their songs. I genuinely fell in love with Hip Hop. Q. Even in underground hip hop or others country hip hop, te lyrics contain a lot of curse words. What do you feel about this? Jimin : I also dont like it when a curse word came. But when there isnt any, it feels lacking. Thats the same with Rap Monster. Rap Monster : I think the curse words can be changed into another word. Its not like the song was created that way, but we can change the curse words into another word. In debut single, there is a song titled I Like It, one of the lyrics its PPi‘ it was a curse word, and i had a hard time since manager hyungs told me to change it. (smiles) (Pass a part) Q.What song you recommended from this album? Rap monster : I listened to OUTRO these days. At first i was shocked. I think so they can make a song with just vocals like this and saw it again. Truthfully, i dont listened to a song which i didnt participate in, well but its good. V : I like COFFEE. If you grabbed the feeling as you listened to it, it has a different feeling. When you listened to it comfortably, you will grab the atmosphere but when you listened i while thinking, it has a different feeling. Jimin : I really like We On and OUTRO Suga : I recommend ‘The rise of Bangtan. Even from the narration, you can tell its the most exciting song from all of the follow up song. J-Hope : I recommend BTS Cyper Pt. 1 V : I like a song that everyone can enjoy, a party like music. So, The Rise of Bangtan Jungkook : I like We On.
