Q: The last time we spoke, Baro was referred to as the squirrel that likes to pull pranks and also gets sad (laugh). Can you guys tell us more about Baro’s hidden charms that only you guys know? [CNU] The more excited Baro gets, the faster his talking becomes. It’s as if you fast forwarded a video 3 times. Q: It get’s that fast (laugh). [CNU] We always see that and laugh. [Sandeul] Last time we said that he’s like a squirrel, but it’s as if he’s speaking like one and his movements looks like a squirrels’ as well. Q: That must be cute. [Sandeul] No, it’s not that cute! Rather it’s a bit provoking sometimes~ (laugh). But you can’t hate him. [Baro] Hey~ That’s something that I want to say to you, Sandeul! [Jinyoung] There are really too many episodes regarding Baro, but there’s a recent episode that was added. Can I introduce that one? Q: Of Course. Please tell us! [Jinyoung] I recently have a hobby of surprising Baro and Sandeul……it’s like I’m living for this pleasure (laugh), and Baro is especially easy to deceive so I use this hobby on him often. The last time I surprised him, I hid in the bathroom and mimicked the voice of Toshio, the main character of the horror movie “The Grudge”. After that, he just stayed curled up in the same place. [Baro] I really thought I saw a ghost. My body froze and I couldn’t move because I was so terrified. [Jinyoung] AHAHAHA~ (remembers the scene and starts laughing uncontrollably) [Baro] I was really scared, it’s not even funny. [Gongchan] Whenever Jinyoung hyung does anything, he’s very thorough about it. [Jinyoung] Ah~ Just thinking about it now, Baro’s face when he was surprised was super cute~. [CNU] A surprised squirrel (laugh). Q: Not a lonely squirrel. [Jinyoung] A squirrel that has completely stopped moving (laugh). But what’s really cute about Baro is that he gets happy when I surprise him~. In contrast, if I don’t do anything, he comes to me and says “Hey hyung, surprise me more~”. Q: He comes and asks you!? [Jinyoung] Honestly, it’s my first time seeing someone like that (laugh). [Baro] I like to pull pranks on people and I also love to be pranked on! Q: So you like surprises. [Baro] Yes. That feeling of your courage being tested when you’re surprised? It’s a different feeling from when you’re on a rollercoaster, it’s like a portal to another dimension has been opened……I can’t forget that sensation, and I become addicted to it (laugh). I kind of want to experience the thrill all the time. That’s why I like riding rollercoasters, and even though I hate ghosts, I like haunted houses. Also, when we might be late on schedule, I like that heart throbbing feeling of “Oh~ we might not make it!?” [Gongchan] I always get hasty and my heart beats rapidly just by looking at Baro hyung (laugh). [CNU] Sometimes I get a stomachache (bitterly smiles). Q: In a sense, he’s the complete opposite of CNU (observes CNU). [CNU] I can’t think about being barely on time. [Sandeul] I’m the same as Baro and I like being thrilled, and I feel like my day doesn’t start unless Jinyoung hyung surprises me (laugh), it’s become a routine. (Suddenly leaves his seat and opens the door) For example, when I return to the dorm, although no one should be there, I feel the presence of someone. I flinch a little bit and I look back thinking “What is that~?”, and there’s Jinyoung hyung looking through the crack of the door like this (playing 2 roles by himself). [Everyone] (uncontrollable laughing) [Sandeul] It’s really, really scary~. There’s an after-effect (laugh). [Baro] Whether it’s light or dark outside, I think Jinyoung hyung might be hiding somewhere, so it’s become a habit to check under my bed and every corner of my room. But because of this, I can somewhat sense when Jinyoung hyung is hiding. It’s like a Jinyoung aura is radiating (laugh). [Sandeul] I’ve been walking so that I can see both my left and right side. [Baro] But Jinyoung hyung hides in odd places so we can’t really be careless (laugh). [Sandeul] If we’re thinking “We should be safe a hotel right~?” then (suddenly grabs Baro’s shoulder) [Baro] Woah! (almost falls off his chair) You scared me~! Don’t do that so suddenly Sandeul~. [Sandeul] This kind of stuff is what happens daily (laugh). Q: That’s a thrilling everyday. Do you not do anything to CNU and Gongchan? [Jinyoung] I’ve tried several times, but these two don’t really get as scared……. [Baro] I tried to scare CNU hyung once too, but he didn’t react at all. I was imagining him to yell “(in a loud voice) Woah!”, but instead he was like “(in a low murmur) Ha~” (laugh). And then right after he suddenly grabbed me. [CNU] Baro was surprised instead (laugh). [Gongchan] It’s probably not even CNU hyung and I, rather, it’s probably that Baro and Sandeul hyung’s reactions are over-the-top (laugh). [Jinyoung] That’s true, these two give really satisfying reactions that it’s worth setting them up for a prank. I’m always looking forward to seeing them react each time!
