TRANSFER TALK: ** OGENYI ONAZI TO LIVERPOOL ** Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has revealed that he would not mind the chance to sign for Liverpool if their rumoured interest becomes official. The Reds have been tentatively linked with the Lazio ace in recent weeks, following his impressive Serie A performances. Despite being only 20-years-of-age, Onazi is already an 18-time capped international, and has been attracting the attention of some of Europe’s biggest club sides. Liverpool are one of the sides said to be watching the youngster’s progress, and the player himself says that he would be keen to move to Anfield. -I would jump at the chance to play in the Premier League, he is quoted by The Metro. -Liverpool? They are a huge team and are attractive to any footballer. I could see myself playing for them. Scouts from the Merseyside outfit are said to have been in attendance during Nigeria’s 2-2 draw with Italy at Craven Cottage earlier this week, where Onazi put on a fine display.He will also meet fellow compatriot Victor Moses in Anfield. The central midfielder is thought to be available for around £6m, but Liverpool will have to battle off interest from Inter Milan and Ajax who are also said to be interested.
