TRIANGLE TARGET CAPS BY @GMATARUTSE FOR @DAILYNEWSZIM HARARE - Triangle coach Biggie Zuze has challenged his players to kick-start their bid to survive the chop by beating CAPS United when the two teams meet in a Castle Premiership tie at Gibbo Stadium on Sunday. The One Wallet Cup winners desperately need a morale boosting win following a string of poor results lately. The Lowveld side lost 1-0 to ZPC Kariba in their last league match. Triangle are currently languishing in the mucky waters of relegation as they sit fourth from bottom with 27 points from 25 rounds of matches. And with only five matches left before the season comes to an end, Zuze knows the danger if they keep dropping points and has highlighted the importance of his side’s consistency in their fight for survival. “We need to improve on our levels on concentration if we are to survive relegation,” Zuze told the Daily News yesterday. “We have not been playing well this season. It’s not a healthy situation especially given our position on the log. We really need to stabilise things before it’s too late. “We have been playing some good football but our concentration levels have let us down at times. We need to stay focused in all our next matches. It’s not looking good for us and we need to improve on our concentration levels. “CAPS have a good side and they are a team fighting for the championship. It is important in the end to have consistency, and certainly the results in our matches can have a big influence on our position on the log. “The game is very interesting because we are playing for different causes. They are fighting for the championship and we are fighting relegation. We need to go out there and fight for the three points. “We want to finish the season on a high and there is no better way of doing so by beating CAPS United.” Triangle will be without midfielder Nelson Melson, who is injured, while Charles Makoto and Blessing Mazivisa will have to undergo late fitness tests before they can be selected for the match. The Sugar Sugar Boys need to be at their best as Makepekepe will not make it easy for the Lowveld side. The Green Machine are moving with a spring in their step after their huge 4-0 win over Highlanders in their last league match to stay four points behind log leaders Dynamos.
