TRIBUTE TO THE MASTER BLASTER A very nostalgic moment to bid fare well to the Living Legend, master Blaster Sachin Tedulkar. Also known as god of cricket. So do gods retire from their role ? A very befitting farewell to the legend has grappled not only india rather many a big shots related to cricket and any other sphere .All have asked for one day excuse/leave and deferred the todays assignment to be apart of legends farewell party. I am. neither a writer nor a die hard fan of Sachin. Me and my friend Pramod liked Rhul Dravid most as compared to any other indian cricketer. Still I like 10dulkar, love his temperament and attitude towards the game and most importantly his towering and unblemished personality. Still his retirement has made me nostalgic and emotional to pen a few line to relax myself from my burdening thoughts I am grateful to Allah for allowing me a Holiday to celebrate the anniversary and retrial function of the Little Master. Media coverage falls short of papers to write about the achievements and glory earned by the legend for himself and for keeping tricolor fly high. Time passes swiftly un noticed but the real pleasure comes , when we go back and unwind the time in our leisure. Lets unwind and remember our old days. Its not only the story of Tendulkars journey of cricket rather a very vital reminder of my own experiences of our childhood and college days and busy service days. I remember the hot post match discussions before school prayer bell & leisure periods with school friends , Match review in dining hall of OUAT and few whispering words in office atmosphere. I still remember the hits to Abdul Qadir by the young kid from India. The most memorable desert storm at Sarjah, what we watched on the roads by peeping into a TV run in a shop as our hostel TV was out of order or current gone. I still remember the Century scored by the Master after returning from his fathers funeral. Still remember the last ball wicket by a magnificent catch by Azhar,at perth on his own bowling to get the match draw . I remember the hit to Shoaib over point. Loss of india to PAKISTAN AT Chenai after Sachin got out. Still remember the double century hit by the Little Master at Indore. Witnessed the Century of centuries t Dhaka. A brilliant half century at Wankhade and still going on. Hope he completes my dream of 16000 runs in test cricket. Also witnessing the retrial celebration. Feel happy that India could repeat history to lift the world cup, where his contribution has been vital. So Sachin’s career could get the most coveted prize of his life time. A large void created in India (Indian Cricket) by the absence of Sachin as his impression has been printed on billion hearts. Still Dil mange more . We would love him to be in touch with the game and contribute to Indian cricket till we find a new Sachin, which is next to impossible, Still hope for the best. At this moment I miss my friends with whom I shared these precious moments. Hope life gives us opportunity some time later to sit together and discuss/argue/fight for a consensus over the new era cricket. LOVE U SACHIN & MY FRIENDS FOR THE PRECIOUS MOMENTS WE SHARED DISCUSSING INDIAN CRICKET ASHMIN PRAHARAJ
