TRIP TO LEH Duration: 03 nights/04 days Destination: Laddakh Activities: Camel ride, Indus valley visit, Monastery visit Grade: Easy Destination Covered: Leh - Khardung La – Confluence of Indus and Zanskar River –Magnetic Hill –Hall of Fame-Sindu gate-Shay Palace-Leh Palace- Shanti stupa – Nimu - Pangong Lake Day 1 : Arrive – Leh Arrivel at Leh airport and transfer to hotel. Half day for Acclimatize and relaxation later after noon drive to visit Some interesting places such as Hall of Fame , Magnetic Hill and Conflunce of Zanskar and Indus River. Drive back to Hotel Evening Explore the local Market overnight at Hotel. Day 2 : Leh – Khardunga La – Leh (40 KMS approx, one way) After breakfast we will go to Khardung La Pass, world highest motorable road (5359 meters). Back to Hotel for Lunch. Post lunch visit some old monument such as Shay and Thiksey and Hemis Monastery and reach camp site by the end of the day, in evening Cultural show for the students to take a journey through laddakhi folk dance. Overnight at Camp at Gyamtso around 6 km aways from Leh town. Day 3 : Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh (151 KMS approx, one way). After early breakfast we will drive to Pangong Tso Lake. via Karu (An Army camp on Leh-Manali road) and cross Changla Pass (17500 ft) and reach Pangong Lake . Half of the part of this lake comes under china and half is in India. After seeing this beautiful lake drive back to Leh. Overnight at hotel. Day 4 : Departure to Leh Kusho Bakula Renpoche Airport INCLUSIONS:- 1. Accommodation for 03 Nights on sharing basis (2 nights at Hotel and 1 night at Camp) 2. All meals 3.
