TRUE CHRISTIANITY IS PRIMARILY A CALL TO SUFFER HUMBLY WITH AND FOR JESUS CHRIST! SOW UNTO THE HOLY SPIRIT!!! Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christs sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4:12,13 KJV Anybody who follows Jesus Christ will as a matter of course face many trials and persecution; this is not a bad thing at all. Rather, His followers must rejoice in partaking of His sufferings; so when His Glory is revealed, they would be glad with great joy. Lord Help us to emulate Your Example in readiness and willingness to suffer for Your Names sake in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:10-12 RSV Persecution for the sake of righteousness is inevitable for the followers of Jesus Christ. Often unjust and very negative experience, the believer is to bear up under such a yoke of injustice with a positive countenance. It is important to know that believers who went before, those present and those to come have been through and will experience the same. However, for this experiences, the believer shall be fully recompensed in Jesus Name. Lord our Father, please remember us according to Your Promise in due season in Jesus Name. Amen!!! For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps. 1 Peter 2:21 NASB Then Jesus said to the disciples, If any of you wants to be my follower, you must put aside your selfish ambition, shoulder your cross, and follow me. If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life. Matthew 16:24,25 NLT The believers Call is for the purpose of suffering! I did not write the Holy Scriptures; they were Inspired by God Almighty and I believe them to be the Word of the Living God! Jesus Christ suffered for us tremendously and we are to follow in His Footsteps and example! Father God, please give us a heart to follow in Jesus Footsteps in Jesus Name. Amen!!! As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away. This took place to fulfil what was spoken through the prophet: Say to Daughter Zion, See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey. Matthew 21:1-5 (NIVUK) Jesus Christs every need was met Supernaturally! He was always surrounded with people who met His every need! When Called, do not worry about your needs being met; for the One who Called you shall make sure all your needs are well covered in Jesus Name. Amen! Help me o Lord not to think or bemoan adversity, challenges, persecution or unmet needs in my Call; but rather to look up to You, the Author and Finisher of my faith for all my needs to be met in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (7) Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. (8) For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:7-8 Many go through life as if all the evil they engage in will be swept under the carpet! No, not so! Every action is a seed sown; no man can mock God. Mocking God is thinking that God cannot see nor punish wrongdoing and evil! If you follow after your flesh in sin and evil, you cannot mock God; God Sees and will Judge every wrongdoing including words spoken. If you sow unto the flesh you will reap corruption; and if you sow unto the Spirit, you will by the Spirit rea Eternal Life in Christ Jesus! Amen.
