TRUE STORY… In a small rural town in Alabama there was a murder trial and the defense attorney was among the top 10 trial lawyers in the country. The alleged murder was committed at night. An eyewitness to the shooting was on the stand and the defense lawyer asked the witness, “just how far were you from the shooting when you allegedly witness this crime.” The witness stated about 100 yards to which the defense lawyer stated, “you were 100 yards in the dark of the night and you were able to see this shooting?” Yes sir said the witness.
