TRULY IMMORTAL Friends, get this in your skull and soul. Christians CANNOT BE KILLED (John 11:26, Do you believe this? our Lord asked Martha). This is not schizophrenic delusion but sound doctrine. We are already dead with Christ (Rom. 6:3; Gal. 2:20) -- we are already dead to the feeling of the flesh. CHRISTIANS DONT DIE; WE FALL ASLEEP when this earthly temporary tabernacle falls off, and our spirit moves to the permanent Temple in Heaven (Pauls doctrine in 2 Cor. 5:1-2, and dont forget glorious the verses just before this, 2 Cor. 4:16-18). Lazarus was said to be sleeping. When Stephen (his name means crown) was stoned in Acts 7 the Spirit says he fell asleep. Paul tells the Thessalonians to not be ignorant about those who are *sleeping* (1 Th. 4:13-18), but that Christ will evacuate them from this old world before those who are alive and remain, even before he dissolves this old sin-cursed world and creates a New Heavens and New Earth wherein dwells Righteousness. This is secret to Paul constantly repeating how he was not ashamed of the Gospel and would magnify Christ by life or death in his body -- He knew he is invincibly immortal in Christ, having already being crucified with Christ to the life of the flesh, being born and borne of the Holy Spirit of God. It is only those false prophets and nominal Christians that fear and argue against the open proclamation in the streets, slums, lanes, and markets the foolishness of God which is wiser than men (1 Cor. 1:18-25), even the Gospel which we preach (Proverbs 1:20-21).
