TRULY, THERE IS PERFECTION IN GIVING... God will never put anyone under pressure; He is a complete gentle Being. He neither exerts force nor violence; He allows man to exercise his freewill. Man often exercises this freewill to gratify his selfish desires, and he acts so because he is ignorant. Wisdom demands that if God demands anything, we willingly release it. Whenever we do this, we prove that we value Him above other things. Remember that, when the Israelites were to leave Egypt, God gave them favour and they spoiled the Egyptians. They collected all kinds of jewelry and clothing. Now, of all the gifts they collected, God demanded an offering. Moses said to them...whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as an offering to the Lord 35:5. He could have ordered them to submit all that they garnered from Egypt, but He allowed them to decide the measure of giving. The Scripture bears them this testimony...the people bring much more than enough for the service of the work... 36:5. Like we have earlier established, God will not require if He has not empowered. He doesnt make demands until He has ensured supply. But many people are still very reluctant to give back to God what He initially gave to them, He asks for their time, they say they are very busy. He positions the needy around them, but theyve refused to help them. They just want it all to themselves. Saints of the most High, refusing to honour a divine demand puts our supply at risk. Everything we claim to now have came from Him. Lets learn from the Israelites; God is NEVER in need, but if He ever comes knocking at our door, we shouldnt hold back. Knowing fully well that, wherever God has made supply, He will make demand. May the lord open our heart of understanding in Jesus powerful name. Amen.
