TSG Asian Games 2014 be held in Guangzhou! The Straits Games (TSG) started as a friendly annual sports competition between the Leadership Programme Graduates (LPG) in Malaysia and Men After Work Group (MAW) in Singapore, with a goal of fostering friendship and promoting a healthy lifestyle in the LGBT community. In recent years, the TSG has expanded its reach to include participants from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines and China. In 2014, for the first time, China will be the host nation. The event will be held in Guangzhou. Badminton, bowling and volleyball are the core sports in TSG, and this year’s TSG2014 Guangzhou will see the introduction of basketball, swimming, athletics and tennis. Social activities include a welcome reception, pool party, city tour and a gala dinner.
