TUESDAY, 29TH OCTOBER GET THAT SPECIFIC WORD BEFORE YOU MAKE A MOVE ” And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise and take the young child and his mother, and ee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him”. Matt. 2:13. God doesn’t want any of His children to struggle through life. Rather, He wants to see them making progress and living victoriously always. Sad to say, but not many of His children have that wonderful life God desires for them. And one of the reasons for this is that they do not pay attention to details. Divine direction is very much needed in the journey of life, especially when one intends to maximize destiny. And this only comes from God. That is why we need not go ahead of God in anything and then expect Him to back us up. Even though Jesus is the Son of God, He came into this earth as a man. And as a young child His life was very much in danger. The king of the day (Herod) who had heard of the birth of another king (Jesus) felt so much threatened that he sought to do everything possible to kill him. Please note that even though Jesus is the Son of God, as a child, it was possible for Him to be destroyed; that was what the angel said. In order for His life e to be saved, the angel specifically and sternly warned Joseph to take the child and flee unto Egypt until he (the angel) brought him word. What that meant was that he was only to depart after he had received the clear word from the angel. The life of Jesus The savior of the world, the Son of God, now rested in Joseph waiting to get that specific word or else he would die and his destiny aborted. Many a time, some Christians do things that do not last. Some ministries do not last, some marriages hit the rocks in few months after the wedding, some businesses collapsed before they could emerge and events of like fashion happen to many of God’s children all because they do not get the specific word, peculiar to your situation. That shall not happen to you in Jesus’ name. Prayer: Heavenly Father I trust that your specic word to me is the key to my success in what I do. I wait patiently for your word and I receive it by faith. Amen! Ps. David.
