TUESDAY FORECAST: Enjoy a beautiful, warm Tuesday before cooler weather returns. A southwesterly breeze will help to pull in a warmer, more moist airmass on Tuesday with high temperatures around the low 70s. Clouds will increase in the afternoon and evening before rain and even some thunder arrives overnight and early on Wednesday. As the cold front passes on Wednesday, some wrap around moisture could change to a few flurries or light snow showers, mainly in the higher elevations. There should be no problems for most areas with no accumulation expected in the lower elevations. It will clear out again on Thursday with cooler temperatures in the low 40s. By the end of the week, it warms back to near normal or above normal temperatures with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s on Friday. A quick cold front will once again move through on Saturday trying to keep temperatures in the 50s through Sunday and Monday of next week. To sum it all up, after a nice Tuesday, it will cool back down for most of the forecast period. A few systems could affect us by early next week, but there is still a lot of spread in the model guidance regarding track and strength of these systems.
