When we hear the word Corruption these days we almost instantly think of Washington politicians or Wall Street bankers. But what happens when that corruption is based in a place where you would least expect it, and can least afford to allow it to continue? What happens when its right in your own back yard? Corruption is not limited only to politicians and bankers, and it does not always manifest it self in ways that are easily recognizable and evident. Sometimes the worst forms of corruption are those which are right in front of us every day, yet remain hidden and scarcely recognized. Sometimes these acts of corruption are not even recognized even by those who are committing it. “When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Natures God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.” “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.” Some of you may recognize that paragraph as coming from the U.S. Declaration of Independence. While those words were written over 237 years ago America has somehow managed to thrive and prosper by living and adhering to those principals and values which are spelled out in the accompanying documents that we call The Constitution Of The United States of America. Exposing corruption; When we speak in terms of Government corruption, note that this paragraph does not merely suggest that when our Government and elected officials have become corrupt it may be an option to expose and alter such corruption, but that it is the DUTY of the people to stand up and expose it. It is your DUTY to stand up and expose any such Government corruption. Corruption by elected and appointed officials is not limited to Washington, and it does not always appear in the form of theft, embezzlement, or physical abuse at the hands of a rogue enforcement officer, or Government agency, but rather corruption can and does exist at all levels of Government. Even in our own local communities. Exposing and attempting to set things right does not necessarily constitute nor advocate the over throw or even a change of our Government. It merely says that corruption must not be allowed to continue. Corruption by our local officials, (either City, County, or State), may actually be perpetrated almost unknowingly by those simply following protocol and procedures. (“This is the way we have always done things”) or they may say (“you must follow the rules because this is the way its done”). Corruption appears in many forms and often is not even recognized for what it is, Corruption and despotism. “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government,” Most people do not know that during the years of 1946 to 1949 our legal form of justice was altered when the U.S. Justice Department issued a new set of “Rules for the Justice system” here in America. Our system of administering justice was altered from the system of Common Law administered by the people, and through the peoples courts, to a system administered and totally controlled by the courts themselves. Control of the courts was taken away from the people and we were handed instead a system ripe with the potential for despotism, over zealous controls, and corruption. This is our current justice system of Statutory Law. A justice system owned, controlled, ruled over, and administered solely by the courts and agents of those courts, without any oversight by the people, establishes a system of dictatorial rule. If and when anyone challenges any portion of that system it becomes the prerogative of that said court and justice system to deal with and administer what ever form of “Justice” they choose to design. It is no less than a system of the “Good-ole-Boy” network (“My Court, My Rules, My ball park, and My Justice System”). In the case of Terry Trussell when he stood up and exposed the corruption perpetrated by a local District Attorney, and then attempted to correct the situation, he effectively breached the gates and violated the sanctity of that privately owned and controlled “Good-Ole-Boy” network we call our Courts and judicial system. Our courts and Judge Hankinson are not on trial here. Even the District Attorney whos actions lead Mr. Trussell to stand up and attempt to correct a relatively minor (in comparison) infringement of the court in the first place, is not on trial. But for the violations of breaching the walls and the gates of the court owned and administered Justice system, For the crimes of exposing corruption, and playing in their private ball park, for (Violations against “The Color of Law”), Mr. Terry Trussell now faces a potential of seventy years (70) imprisonment at the hands of that very same dictatorial Justice system. At an age now of 71 years this is in effect a sentence of life in prison. When it becomes our DUTY as American citizens to stand up and expose corruption and despotism (at any level of our Government) and that action of attempting to expose and correct those injustices is met with an overwhelming threat of life in prison, it can be viewed as nothing less than an attempt to protect that sanctity of the “Good-Ole-Boy” court system itself. The prosecution of Terry Trussell is nothing more than an attempt by the court to protect its own realms and domains of control and despotism. There can be no other reasonable explanation for the extraordinary potential severity of such a punishment for victimless alleged crimes such as a “violations against the color of law.” Remember that under the peoples Common Law if there is no victim, then there is no crime. And the government can not be the victim. Mister Terry Trussell is not a criminal, He was obeying his oath to Obey, uphold, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, against all enemies, foreign and domestic. It is the same thing he was doing when he fought for liberty, justice, and freedom in Viet Nam. He was doing what is demanded by our Constitution. The documents say “it is the right of the people, in fact it is the DUTY of the people to stand up and throw off such corruption. Mr. Terry Trussell was doing his sworn Duty as an American and as a Veteran. Terry Trussell is not a criminal, he is a Patriot and a hero. Will this judge identify himself as a defender of the Constitution, a keeper of the oath which he too swore upon entering office, or will he reveal himself as a defender and protector of just another “Good-Ole-Boy” realm of the Judicial system and the exclusive playground of the BAR Attorney. By bringing these charges and prosecutions against Mister Terry Trussell this Dixie County Florida Judge has exposed and identified himself as just such a corrupt Government official for which our Founding Documents were written to protect the American people against. Whether this judge is knowingly and actively pursuing this course of judicial corruption for the sake of protecting his domain and realm within the courts, or if he is merely pursuing it in terms of and for the purposes of maintaining the stability and environment of the statutory law system of Justice remains to be determined. The American people can not, nor should we ever tolerate a system of corruption and despotism administered at the hands a dictator. At any level of Government. We should all Obey and respect the laws and our legal and judicial system. It has been said that America is a Nation of laws, not of men. Someone also once said that freedom is never free, and the cost of freedom is eternal vigilance. When injustice becomes the rule of law, and laws are made for the sole purpose of protecting the sanctity, the realms, and jurisdiction of those who are empowered to make those laws, then respect for those laws becomes impossible. Revolution against that injustice becomes necessary.
