TURKEY UPDATE - Five alleged wiretapped conversations between Erdogan and his son appear authentic. The conversations, recorded on 17 and 18 December during the corruption probe into the Government ministers illegitimate activities have shaken Turkey since they were published on the net on 24 February. The authenticity of these conversations, in which Erdogan tells his son to get rid of the cash collected from businessmen as bribes and stashed in five different locations in Istanbul, estimated to be more than 1,000,000,000 USD, had been strongly denied by Erdogan at first.
