TURMEL: Rogers strikes KotP Youtube channel; Russell Brand.. JCT: Rogers filed a complaint with Youtube about my posting my Brantford mayoral debate. They think because the city lets them video the debate that they own the rights to make disappear after the election. Go try to find any past election debates held by Rogers. Gone. And they want to make sure its gone. But I do something to protect myself. https://youtube/watch?v=ALEaAAU3KAE is Russell Brands great rant on Stephen Harper using the probable false-flag attack in Ottawa to further his warmonger aims for less civil rights and more security to go after anyone not liking us anywhere in the world, Captain Canuck dropping bombs from safe heights for preventative defence all around world. But he used clips from Canadian media. And who needs to give the prestitutes some way to try to shut down his channel. So I posted him this warning: and decided to tell him how to protect his channel. Jct: Great rant and great technique of interspersing your comments. Ive done the same in my videos but I urge you sit in front of the copyrighted pieces of video you show so they become part of your show to completely avoid complaints of copyright infringement. And even though thats what I do, Ive just had a strike on my channel by Rogers-TV in Canada who filmed me in a Brantford mayoral debate. I had sat before it cutting out the political dross and leaving only the clips of my responses that night. Ye they still complained to Youtube and I suffered a strike. Ive counter-claimed and if Rogers does not respond, my debate video goes back up, but imagine the resistance Id have received if I hadnt done that all the time. When I was on CBCs Dragons Den, I did the same and they could not object about me showing the out-takes from my 15-minute pitch reduced to 1-minute while I sat in front of it. I had to sue the CBC to get the whole video! The point is they can strike your channel regardless and imagine three at once. Youre not dealing with a human but with a machine as judge. Why risk protest? Play the clip behind you. And if Rogers does respond to uphold their strike, (3 strikes and all my >400 videos come down), Ill have the documentation to test their copyright in a Canadian court. Rogers knows Im not kidding. Ive already taken Rogers and CRTC to the Supreme Court of Canada once for having the police remove me from the televised debate for wearing my party button. Seems they had a dress code and I didnt obey. Ive been called the grand-daddy of guerrilla lawyers by the Globe and Mail and that was in 1984 when I was just a kid!! So do keep your channel safe by keeping your face in the shot as much as you can to avoid any wasted time on threats to your channel. Finally, there seems to already be one strike against me and its of one of my accordion concerts at Amber Lea old-folks home I taped and I uploaded!!! How that could have received a complaint I cant understand. But you can understand my trepidation with Number Two. JCT: Its evident that that video of me watching and commenting on the Rogers debate is a video of me. So its evident that Rogers filed a false copyright complaint. No one has ever filed a copyright complaint against my videos watching something else before. Dragons Den didnt.
