TUT seeks part-time photography lecturer Tshwane University of Technology is looking for a part-time lecturer in the Department of Visual Communication (Photography) Tshwane University of Technology’s Department of Visual Communication (Photography) has a part-time position for a Lecturer at the Arts Campus for the following subjects: Visual Communication lll, Applied Photography lll, IV; Theory of Photography lll, IV. Critical Performance Areas - Setting, preparing and conducting lectures for the subjects. - Setting tests, projects, assessing and evaluating them. - Marking assignments and tests. - Participating in departmental meetings and subject meetings. - General administration such as capturing test and assignment marks on IT System, uploading documents on my TUTor and compiling of subject file(s). - Student consultation. Minimum Requirements - B-Tech in Photography or an equivalent qualification for 3rd year subjects. - M-Tech in Photography or an equivalent qualification for 4th year subjects. - At least one year industrial related experience. - Two years lecturing experience. - Proficiency in professional camera (medium/large format) and studio equipment/lighting. - Full proficiency in English is a prerequisite. - Experience in Research Methodology and Techniques.
