TVR #4 - Super Sedan Grand Prix - Latrobe, Tasmania Big Bad Bert had his first hit out on his Tasmanian tour on the weekend making the A main and showing plenty of speed along the way. The two night event had a total of 5 x qualifying heats which saw Bert finish 2nd (by only 0.003 sec) , 6th , 5th, 7th & 5th. His total points tally had him 22nd which qualified for the last starting position for the 50 lap A Main. Bert made good progress in the early stages of the race working his way up to 11th before being Black Flagged by the officials for a few on track altercations. This was Berts first real serious hitout in his new car and he is happy with the progress made over the weekend with setup changes etc. As you will see from attached photos , early on night 1 BBB #4 Southern Haulage Camaro was a handful with way too much traction on the hooky clay surface.
