TWO LOCAL HB PEKINGESE NEED A FOREVER HOME AFTER THEIR OWNER PASSED - RESCUE HELP NEEDED :(( Saw this am while searching for lost and found pets on CL.. this is really sad! Anyone interested? She has 10 days to place them! **I have no other info just sharing to help these 2 from going to overcrowded kill shelter** In November, my grandmother passed away unexpectedly. She had two dogs, Angel (11 Years/Female/Brown) and Dexter (9 Years/Male/White), both Pekingese, at the time she left us. I have been taking care of them since then, the best I can given my commute and work hours. But they need more love and attention, more than I can give them right now. We have had Angel since she was a puppy, and Dexter we adopted in 2007 from a rescue. Dexter is the lover, cuddler that always wants to be pet. And Angel is more the independent type. Although they are both getting older, they still sometimes play with each other like puppies. They have had no medical issues in the time we have cared for them. They are both very loved and will be missed greatly. It breaks my heart that I have to give them up, but I know it is for the best. I just really want to find a good home for them and for my grandmother. These dogs were her life after she stopped working. I am trying to place these two together, as they have been attached for the past 7 years. If you are interested in adopting these dogs, please contact me.
