Ta very much to all of you who have so far taken a minute out of your Saturday to send me words of encouragement on having a happy birthday. Just because I dont know who many of you are doesnt make it any less real. Were friends according to the worlds most all consuming social networking site and as the machines become self aware thats all that matters. Should any of you like to join tonights quest for oblivion dont hesitate in joing our motley band of brothers. Well be out nabout the mean streets of motown frequenting its many speakeasys (definitely not the picture house or busbys though. I am far too young for the former and much to old for the latter. Certainly too cool for both). Id also like to take this opportunity to announce my retirement from international football. Im not getting any younger and I still like to think I can concentrate on a few more years of 5-a-side at a decent level. I wish the squad and manager all the best in the upcoming qualifiers.
