Tablecloths were originally meant to be served as towels with which dinner guests could wipe their hands and faces after eating. Today we feel guilty if we mess one up, they now have a different purpose. Times change, things change, people change. I know this great person who in her mid-fifties decided she could write plays. Not only did she think she could write a play, she could and did. i know, i just saw one the other night. Not only was it a play, it was a musical with a band, singers, dancers and a plot that was fun and interesting. The audience cheered, laughed, applauded and at times gasped. It was engaging. (As a side note if you live in Kansas City you need to see it... Lucky Streak at the Unicorn). My point is it is never to late to change your purpose. Just like that table cloth that used to have an outdated purpose but now has a new vibrant one, so can you. If you have this new latent desire to do something different start today, sieze the moment, you can do it. Find your new purpose.
