Some have shaped who I am today while some have just helped me find a different person in myself. So here is the list of first 15 books that came to my mind ! ( 10 is just too less !) 1) Who moved my Cheese ? by Dr. Spencer Johnson Believe it or not, this was the first book I read on my own and it has taught me one of the greatest lessons of my life. 2) The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling People know what this series did. So I wont elaborate. P.S. I still hope for a letter sometimes when I get good grades :P 3) The God of Small things by Arundhati Roy 4) The Heros walk by Anita Rao Badami Couldnt keep the book down. Brought me closer to my family. 5) Animal Farm by George Orwell 6) Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy Read it on my Mums suggestion just after I finished 10th. It was a book that taught me at a very young age about the complexity of a womans life, the complexity of her heart and mind. 7) Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë “If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger.” 8) If you are afraid of Heights by Raj Kamal Jha This book was confusing. Its okay to be confusing. I embrace it. I would say, read the book and find out for yourself what it has to offer. 9) Oliver Twist - Charles Dickens This book can make me cry a river even now. 10) The Grimm Fairytales by the Grimm Brothers 11) Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell Frankly mdear , I dont give a damn ! , With enough courage, you can do without a reputation 12) The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini 13) Matilda by Roald Dahl , Charlie and the chocolate factory too. 14) Great Expectations by Charles Dickens 15) Life of Pi by Yann Martel I want Mona Verma, Sanjay Verma , Goda Sadzeviciute, Anshul Gang, Anamika Tyagi, Todd Metzler , Lavanya Verma, Sarth Gupta, Abhishek Gupta, Nidhi Shree, Ankita Singh Maísa Furtado, Siddhartha Thakur to come up with their lists ! I, somehow, find this better than having a bucket full of ice water thrown on myself :/
