Please tweet or forward with the hashtag #take10foralex Alexander Hermann, a 9 year old Lakeway Elementary student was at his first day of soccer practice @ the Field of Dreams in Bee Cave when he was struck by a rogue bolt of lightning from a storm cell over 3 miles away. The heroics of a 19 year old, first time soccer coach who performed bystander CPR, was monumental in regaining Alexs pulse so that EMS personnel could airlift him. He has 1st degree burns and some organ damage, but not sure at present regarding his neurological condition. We are grateful to the Lake Travis Youth Association for establishing a fund to assist with Alexs medical care.
