Take Selfies with the Besties Many of my weekends this summer were filled with fun and crafting and a little stress planning for a big, beautiful wedding that occurred on my farm this summer. But a couple weekends ago, after the wedding, I got to take a trip with three of my best friends. And even though we were set to attend some big events that weekend, our best times were had when we just hung out together and got to be silly and laugh our heads off. Like the moment we asked the staff at the In-N-Out Burger for some of their paper hats so we could put them on and take selfies of us looking ridiculous! bestie_border Ive come to realize that outside of my relationship with God and my relationship with my kids, there is nothing in this world that blesses my heart and my soul as much as being with my best friends. And not caring what the world thinks. Because we love each other fiercely and we would do anything for each other, including but not limited to, harassing and pranking each other every chance we get... I hope youve got a good friend like that with whom you can be silly and laugh and just be yourself. And I encourage you to take the time to plan one of those soul-nourishing days or weekends when you can spend time together and make some new memories - and perhaps document them with a few selfies.
