Take Your Meds Why is it Important to Take Your Medication as Prescribed? Medication functions as an exterminator. The exterminator comes to your house in order to rid your house of vermin. The exterminator uses a product commonly known as chemical or treatment. Medication goes into your body to rid it of your illness. The properties of your medicine functions as the treatment. In order to attain optimal health you need to take your medication. If the medication is not taken properly (aka as prescribed) then you still have vermin in your system. You still have remnants of the illness in your system. By sticking to your medication for as long as prescribed you are giving your body all of the treatment that is needed in order to eradicate the illness. Have you ever wondered why your cold came back immediately after you stop taking your medication when you felt it wasn’t needed since you felt and looked physically fine? The answer: Just because your physical body appears to be in optimal shape does not mean your body’s systems are optimum. Just because you cannot see the wind doesn’t mean that it’s not there. Just because you feel fine doesn’t mean that you actually are 100% A-Okay. Put it this way, there are many people who have chronic diseases, but do not know that they have because they are asymptomatic. Just because you do not exhibit any of the symptoms of a specific illness does not mean that you do not have one. With Doubt or Without Doubt… Take Your Meds.
