Take a look at these three scriptures and see what you can find in common. Joh 19:26 Then when Jesus saw His mother and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, Woman, behold your son! Joh 20:2 Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him. Joh 21:20 Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following (the one who also leaned on His breast (His chest) at supper, and said, Lord, who is he who betrays You?) Okay, do you have it? Besides the fact that all three of these came from the Gospel of John theres one more thing they all had in common. It is the phrase, the disciple whom Jesus loved. The disciple (apostle) John was so conscience of the Lords love for him that in his gospel he stated this fact...the disciple whom Jesus loved. This is not because Jesus loved John more than the others. No! Instead, John was just more conscience of the Lords love for him. My friends, when you are so conscience of the Lords love for yourself, it changes you! The things that you used to want to do, you no longer have a desire to do. Instead, you are now more conscience of His love for you than anything else. You now want to do things that please the Lord, that is...the ONE and only one who the Lord Jesus Christ!
