Take time to read Christians... Religion or Salvation? Which Have you? 1) Religion is what man does for God….. Salvation is what God Does for man. Isaiah 53:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 2) Religion say: Something in my hand, I bring. Salvation say: Nothing In my hand I, bring. Ephesians 2:8,9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 3) Religion is Trusting in a work we do.(to be save) Salvation: Is trusting in a work THAT HAS BEEN DONE: Mark 26:28 This is my blood of the[a] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 4) Religion depends on our behaving. Salvation—Acts 16:31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” 5) Religion depends upon the sufficiency of Character. Salvation depends on the sacrifice of the Cross-. 1 Cor. 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 6) Religion is striving for a better Attainment. Salvation is secured through a perfect Atonement. 1 Peter 1:18,19 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 7) Religion tries to bring us from darkness to light. Salvation does Brings us from Death to Life. John 5: 24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. 8) Religion Consist in attention to rites, forms, Church doctrines, ceremonies, precepts, Laws and commandments. Salvation consist in the IMPARTING of NEW LIFE, by RECEIVING of a PERSON. (JESUS CHRIST) John 5:24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. Luke 24: 25 He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?” 27. And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself. Christ the Center of the BIBLE..
