Taken from my archives, listing for mansion Al Capone stayed in way back when in woods at the end of my street, altered to adhere to site guidelines. Kev( my husband) & my excellent adventure. Weve lived in our house for 27yrs. at the end of our street is woods that butt up to a boy scout camp If you walk towards the left, to the right is A well known world famous Golf Club. Thru the years we would hear from the kids about the house Al Capone stayed in,but we never saw it ,kindve thought it was BS . Since I got my pedometer ,I needed a little adventure to add steps,since Ive walked to & around most of the lakes in my town ,decided to head for uncharted territory. I didnt want to go too far in with just me & Hank for all the obvious reasons. Theres a lot of very steep hills,valleys, & you never know who might be lurking. Kev (my husband came with me a couple of times, each time going further in,he became interested after I showed him my phone app map of some of the crazy places Ive been walking. A couple of Saturdays ago ,we walked up on THE house, secluded back in the woods. We walked up to the left alongside of the tennis courts, it wasnt even fenced in on that side. A couple of days later Kev went back with him & Hank while I was working he said he could hear some kindve alarm echoing in the woods,he wasnt sure where it was coming from. just thought it was pretty crazy stuff. We have one more adventure back there . There s supposed to be another lake (lake lekau)back there on the other side of the mansion,probably wait until Fall,the ticks are awful. Walked Hank when I got home tonight had 2 on me. Im thinking of parting my hair up the middle at the base of my neck ,maybe apply some Frontline.
