Taken your turtle for a walk lately? It was a fairly quick 6 - TopicsExpress

Taken your turtle for a walk lately? It was a fairly quick 6 hour drive back to San Diego from Fresno, but we had just a minute to arrive before catching up with everything that needs to be done. I had to put the finishing touches on my new book, which I will hopefully have out way before the BIG DAY! The BIG DAY? Well I know that a lot of you already know it, but in case you did not, here is the skinny... In amongst the launch of both our South African and Europe divisions of AMI, all the teams are coming together for a momentous occasion! On the 11th of October two of my spiritual kids are tying the knot! Yep, in case you did not know it, Nathan Berry and Chaifa Thao will be saying their vows and making a quick skip down the isle before heading off for a honeymoon. Here, for the very first time in years, will they be able to start a conversation with something other than, Did you see that your student wrote in for counsel...? It is quite a thing trying to tuggle romance, ministry and then family life. Somehow we work it out. It is no wonder why our slogan is By His Grace! I have come to realize though that the reason why it works is because we do not departmentalize The Lord. There is no line between our ministries and our families. He is given free reign in every area of our lives. So at the end of today when Jessica decided to take our turtle and tortoise for a walk, you could hear someone else having a prayer time, while I armed up with a wooden spoon to make dinner. My point (besides the fact that we actually walk a turtle) is that when The Lord is part of every area of your life, He also arranges it so that it all just fits. When Nate and Chaifa each joined us, they only had ministry in mind. It never occurred to them as they gave up everything for the call that The Lord had something so much more in store. When you put the Kingdom of God first, He really does take care of the rest. Your part is to take the risk of trust! To follow The Lord and to trust that He will take care of the rest of the details. Sometimes we as humans like to look before we leap, however when we take that step under Gods control, He makes sure we have a soft landing. So no matter where you are today, firstly allow The Lord into every part of your life. Secondly, if you have been feeling The Lord nudge you in a direction... TAKE IT! You never know where that direction could lead. You just be obedient and let The Lord take care of your desires. In my experience, He will never let you down. He is just waiting for you to surrender. Have a fantastic week and we will talk again soon! With Much Joy and Blessing, Colette Toach Apostle & Spiritual Mother Apostolic Movement International P.S.
