Taking Molly for her morning walk, we stumble across someone breaking into a car. Stupid me, I make the mistake of calling 911 instead of directly calling the sheriff dept. Stupid 911 transfers me to Marina del Ray. In all that time wasted, criminal not only gets whatever he wants and starts to drive off, but actually pauses, comes back (while I panic, thinking he is coming for me!) takes more and then leaves. (I did call our sheriff dept. and report it but too late by then. ) Still shaking, both from fear and anger.
