Taking a big relaxed breath, and taking a moment to say a belated Merry Christmas! So many unexpected and new events this Christmas, including a sick kiddo and missed Christmas Eve with family...missing my precious grandpa this first Chritmas without him...but as always, love, flexibility and family reign in our clan, and we had wonderful celebrations of Christs birth!! True to form, interesting anagrams were created from the Happy Birthday Jesus donuts(dont ask!).....,lets just have two desserts turned into 5 pies, 3 cakes, dozens of cookies, fudge and toffee...cousin sleepovers abounded....6 New kiddos/babies provided by my cousins were celebrated....30 minutes of hymn singing out of the old (new) maroon songbooks stopped even the rowdiest of toddlers for a few moments of worship.....and true to Parkhurst form, my dad surprised the grandkids with a professional zipline! Platform coming soon, but you can see we made do with what we had......this is the first human trial......Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good ride!!
