Taking a break from public service announcements for the weekend. So, Im at the ranch. We got almost 3 of rain yesterday and last night, thank you Jesus.......Temp is 70 degrees. Low tonight in the low 60s. Big pot of axis stew on the stove. Home made cornbread to follow. Not sure if Im making a cobbler or serving fresh fruit. Starting to clear up so we need to fill feeders and stuff. Life is great..........but I will be making political public service announcements from now until election day. Oh and I almost forgot the most important part. Two weeks ago, when we were last here, we plowed and planted an acre of oats, peas, beets and various other brouse items for the deer. They are about 2 tall now. I am so excited. If it drys up enough for me to disc up another acre, I have more brouse to plant....Woo Hoo.
