Taking a moment to remember my Grandmother on her birthday. This is what I imagined her last conversation to me would have been. Im not looking for your sorrow But Im worried about your faith Its not what you say tomorrow Its what you do today As I slip away from this world break free these earthly chains No statue will be made of me So one question remains Did I show you the way? Did I show you the way? The way to have faith The way to hang on The way to do right When everyone else does wrong The way to stand up Not show the pain Did you learn how to pray?
