Taking a page from my friend, Lakeland, I want to say that 2014 delivered some of the biggest ups and the biggest downs I have ever experienced! New opportunities opened up for me and on the other hand, several doors were firmly shut in my face. I’ve picked up some new people in my life, both friend and, not friend. I’ve also lost some people from my life who had to depart, one way or another; some I hated to see go and others I cheered a loud, BUH BYE as they found themselves deleted from my presence. My family is larger this year. I finally have that “son” I tried for three times. My SIL (son in-law), Victor, is awesome! He’s still at that stage where he’s not quite sure if I’m a great MIL (mother in-law) or a freaking awesome one! He’ll find out soon enough, lol. Y’all know how I feel about my kids; I created three absolutely beautiful creations in them. In 2014 I created two more when I published two novels. I’m proud of myself but not too proud. I’ve got more I want to do! In order to do that I’ve got to up my game and like the song says, people, get ready, there’s a train a comin! So, as I say farewell to 2014, I reflect on the good, the bad and the ugly of the year and say, ciao bella and welcome the abundance in blessings I claim out loud from 2015. youtu.be/rG7DOhXEkaU
