Taking photos and fining people from 700 metres away is not - TopicsExpress

Taking photos and fining people from 700 metres away is not interesting. What IS interesting is how you can detect if someone DOESNT HAVE A LICENCE from 700m away. How can you tell that? From the license plate? Is there a chip reading technology for Licenses being quietly used in these long range cameras. Suggestion to police - go and patrol X Black spots at peak hour on the ground. Its not a any long distance photo but you get to arrest people first hand or prevent real accidents instead of journalling offences. I am sure that it is a better use of resources to have cameras set up on a permanent basis.
