Talavara!! So its been discussed a few times, and I think its time to move the ball forward and open up discussion on the following. There is a desire to make our Dag group an official chapter in DBGA and that is a great idea. The question is how to set everything up, the intent of this thread is to get us rolling on that front. With that said, Id like to start with just my ideas on how to go about it. We pretty much handle so much of our groups business by popular vote, so I think we should just maintains the same structure as how the Amtgard side of our park is setup for ease of use. Elected leaders, qualification tournaments for said positions, attendance requirements, paying dues, and, Althing votes for needed business. I think the system has served us well thus far and why fix something thats not broken. The second half of what Im suggesting is using the name for both parks. Satsu has stood shoulder to shoulder with the brothers from Blackstar on battlefields near a far under the banner of Cresthaven. We have gained glory and respect from these victories and I say we maintain that identity in Dagorhir and that will insure our reputation only grows. At a minimum, lets change the name because I dont see the thinking behind it. These are only my suggestions and I think we should hear from everyone on this.
