Talented director.. Liked many of his films but his speech is his enemy.. If had shown little softer attitude he would had been an top director as his films are generally good.. Agreed on some of his points abt Maniratnam films and abt Copying Hollywood films.. Yes Earlier when Directors copied none made any complaint instead they appreciated it but now its been mocked which is totally unfair.. But his point of Critics... Sir please see how good comments u received for your films like CP,Aanjathey and OA when u accept that with Both hands accept criticism too .. Both appreciation and Criticism part and parcel of Cinema... After everything people spend their money to watch films,. Dont we say The food is not worth the price in a hotel if we are not satifsifed with their taste same way film makers should understand it..
