Talk about fustration. I live in a community with an Home Owners Assoc. A tree on common property behind my backyard, fell into my yard. It was weakened because of the weather, i.e. wind and snow. The tree fell on part of my roof and it damaged my fence and could have killed someone. The HOA says I am responsible for the damage and the expense of getting rid of it. They said the HOA lawyers call it an Act of God. Hummmm. People will deny there is a God, but then accuse God of causing a tree to fall. Hummmm... The HOA mgmt company says I cant change the policy. It what it is cause the lawyers say so. Well, if we can change the Constitution of the United States, I think I have a shot at getting this policy changed...
