Talk to Kim, Mamas: I have a second grader with ADD and a learning disability. Every night we struggle with homework...he has reading for 20 minutes, reading responses (write detailed sentences about story), spelling words, math page and sight words from his EC teacher. It takes us ALL night to get it done and sometimes it doesnt get completed. I have asked to have his work modified and basically got a response of I will look in to it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to either get the work done (we already take mini breaks throughout the work) or what to suggest to the teacher?
