Talking about Humility, I truly now do believe that Humility Can move mountains. In this life we live we have very few moments that may potentially change your outlook towards life. I hate updating about personal experiences, but I feel this time I have to. This past weekend Tsiu had a former Harvard Schoolmate over for the weekend in Lesotho. Siyabulela Xuza I being a typical guy had already made my mind up about his character before I could even meet him. Here we had a 25 year old who was travelling from Jozi to Maseru but insisted on taking a plane instead of driving because he felt he was too tired for the drive.. I felt this had a ring of pomposity to it. I was wrong. Upon meeting the guy, he was very far from being pompous. Just a simple guy who truly was too tired to drive to Lesotho. He was so simple and blended with everybody so well so much that I just couldnt entertain Tsius claims that the guy was making waves in South Africa. I on a number of times simply dismissed him by saying he ntate, ska re joetsa ka motho enoa oa hau.. Ena motho eo? I however promised to look the guy up on the Internet. Now after having done so, I boldly do declare that I have eaten humble pie. Siyabulela Xuza - Was a praise Singer to Nelson Mandela at the Age of 13 - At 25 he currently a ROCKET SCIENTIST -In 2006 He was personally invited to the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in Sweden and made a presentation on rocket science before the King and Queen. -In 2007 he was awarded first place at the 2007 Intel Science and Engineering Fair, Which is the worlds largest youth innovation fair. - HE CURRENTLY HAS A PLANET NAMED AFTER HIM. NASA named a minor planet near jupiter after him in 2008. -He became fellowship of the African Leadership Network in 2010 - He is the youngest member of the Africa advisory panel. - He is also currently an Entrepreneur providing motivational speeches to corporate bodies and the Youth. Hehehe. The figures he is raking in per speech are simply unbelievable. Shadaek! There are a host of other achievements to his name. With so much work,the guy really was too tired to drive to Lesotho after all. What amazes me is that he never even at one point hinted that he is doing this well. From this experience I learned that, those who have achieved very little will be quick to flaunt their achievements but those who achieved Great things will remain Humble. INSPIRATIONAL
