Tamara is a scared little girl and should be because she is on - TopicsExpress

Tamara is a scared little girl and should be because she is on tomorrows euth list. Please advocate and share her tonight because tomorrow will be to late. A staff member writes: "Tamara reminds me of a frightened little chipmunk. She hides in back of her cage when we appear before her, then peeks out between the bars when she senses our departure. Her tiny round perfectly painted face, solemn yet sweet. She pops up, then scurries away. Tamara is a petite, compact youngster with a will to survive. Like a forest creature when out in the backyard, she is at once nervous and on guard. She keeps her distance and, in moments, surprises both of us with a random jump up on my chest: on, off crouch low, on, off, freeze and listen carefully, scamper away. But Tamara longs for a kind look even though she is unable to hold my gaze. She has finally begun to allow gentle petting and we can only hope that there will be many more such breakthroughs. But Tamara is a confused pup who needs a friend she can rely on and trust. She needs someone to guide her, someone who will set rules and offer affection without being uncertain or overbearing. Tamara would do best in an experienced dog savvy home without toddlers or pre-teens, as her current level of fear is too great to deal with any unexpected behavior. As well, Tamara would likely flourish in an environment with a well-balanced, playful canine brother or sister. This baby deserves a chance in a healthy environment so that she can blossom into a happy teen
