Tami was a classmate of mine with whom I became friends decades after we graduated. She would stop by my store to talk politics and current events, each of us often on opposite sides of whatever it was we were debating. She served this nation of ours with distinction and honor and for that I am both grateful and thankful. I was lucky to get to know her as well as I did, she came into my store one day to buy something as a gag gift and we quickly realized who the other was. We talked at great length that day and every once in a while after that she would stop by to pick back up our conversation. To her husband and children go my prayers - they have lost a truly wonderful person. I will miss Tami but am lucky to have had her as a friend.
