Tammy Beal shared a status. 18 minutes ago WENDYS ON BELSAY RD BURTON MICHIGAN ARE NOT ANIMAL FRIENDLY: THEY THROUGH SHELTERS IN THE DUMPSTER THAT WERE HOUSING 3 day OLD KITTENS: Well in case you have not heard. This Summer Deb Young and myself had TNRd the kitties behind Taco Bell on Belsay Rd in Burton Michigan. All the kitties have been spay/neutered They also have caretaker and shelters so they will not freeze to death this winter. Then we heard of another batch of kitties behind Wendys a couple doors down. There is a momma with several older kittens. So we involved another friend Rita James who has become these babies caretaker. She has been making sure they are fed everyday. She also put to shelters out behind the dumpsters in the woods. The other day she was there and called me. She said there are newborn babies. I thanked her for getting them shelters ready just in the nick of time. Then she calls me the next day and the elderly disabled lady that has also been feeding is now been forbidden to feed. So we devised a plan to go back the next day and try and trap the momma and pull the babies. Also ask the Management if they would allow us to work on trapping the colony. We figured it would be best if we kept it on a happy note. He told us that he couldnt allow us to do anything until he talks to the top manager. So we set up a meeting on Thursday after there big inspection on Wednesday. We thought we had it all figured out. Then we go back to check on the babies in the shelters. The older kittens were begging for their food. When we went down into the wooded area the shelters were gone as well as the food dishes. Well we were a little infuriated so we headed back in. We asked what happen to the babies. He says what babies? We said the newborns that were in the shelter. He said he looked there werent any. So we asked where are the shelters? He said he through them in the dumpsters. We went back outside and the trash man had already ran. He swears he is an animal lover. I dont believe it. Who throws out shelters that are going to protect cat and kittens from the winter. YOU ARE NOT AN ANIMAL LOVER IF YOU DO NOT FEEL COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS THAT DONT HAVE A HOME!!!! MIKE . My only hope is that mamma moved her babies out before he tore the shelters away from them. She trusted us and put her babies in harms way so they would be protected. Then you through the food dishes out there source of food. NO Mike you are heartless. You claim it was cleaning for the inspections. There are no inspectors coming to Wendys on Beleay rd Burton MI on Wednesday that are going to check the woods behind your dumpsters. MIKE I HOPE YOU ARE SLEEPING WELL TONIGHT. I will never eat at your WENDYS AGAIN. I also hope you fail your inspections on Wednesday at lunch time. Also we found out today that the shelters were not even on Wendys property.
