Tammy has asked: I am looking for safety solutions. Our son (2.5yr old) cosleeps with my husband and I. Also when I visit my mom, or stay in hotels in travel he sleeps in the same bed as me/us. When hubby is in bed, he and I are essentially the bedrails so to speak. However he leaves for work earlier now and its just me in bed...one bedrail. Also when I go visit my parents its typically my son and I. And again I am the acting single rail part. My concern is for the portion of the bed that is open when the hubs isnt in bed. Ive looked at zillions online and read reviews and am cross-eyed from it. ***We need a solution that is portable for home and visiting usage. ****At home we have a super thick mattress, no box spring. The platform we have at home is the metal slat style platform. ***typically when traveling theres a standard matress and box spring. Thank you
