Tao called Tao is not Tao - Lao Tzu, The Tao Te Ching, first - TopicsExpress

Tao called Tao is not Tao - Lao Tzu, The Tao Te Ching, first line --- Tao (pronounced Dow) means Way/Path, with a capital W (or if youre feeling really adventurous: God). Once you label, name, or conceptualize Tao, it is no longer true Tao. The map is not the territory. We can conceptualize or name things like health or fighting but once we do, they lose their essence unless we learn to see the whole. Once we go chiropractic, physiotherapy, osteopathy etc. We put health in a box and close off all other methods and views. But the reality is that there is just health as it is. Once we go boxing, wrestling, karate, tae kwon do, it doesnt reflect true fighting anymore. Boxing losing the kicks, wrestling loses the strikes and so on. Fighting is just fighting. How have you seen or applied this idea of looking past the labels & seeing things as they truly are? #beyondholism #thoughtoftheday
