Taqiyya, in the Koran is the Muslim practice of lying to fool infidels/non-believers to hide the real intentions of Muslims and converting the world to Islam. Taqiyya is the middle of the shit sandwich known as the Koran. The Christian Bible was written by many people, over many centuries. The Bible is full of contradictions that have no good explanation. The Koran was written by one man, during his lifetime. The Koran actually starts out peaceful. It speaks of peace and harmony between different cultures. As the Koran progresses, however, it lends more to violence against non-believers. By the end of the book, the Koran is telling Muslims that Islam is the only religion and the infidels - non-believers - must convert or die. During the Koran, the practice of Taqiyya is encouraged. That is why Moderate Muslims will not turn in their radical brethren. They have been taught to LIE to infidels, to protect the commandments of Islam at all cost, even if they themselves are not radical enough to do the terrible things their cousins do. The street version of not ratting someone out, no matter what. We Westerners believe that radical Muslims are only cherry-picking certain things from the Koran and acting on them. Actually, as I said, the Christian Bible is full of contradictions, but the Koran is not. The Koran starts out peaceful and encouraging cooperation. BUT, the Koran changes, just as Mohamed changes during his lifetime. As he changed his vision for Islam, Mohamed, to deal with any contradictions, commanded that each change (contradiction) supersede the previous command. Peaceful commands, during Mohameds life and the writing of the Koran, became angry and vengeful commands. In short, the Koran started out peaceful and ended violent, just as Mohameds life went. And every thing that was changed along the way, reverts to the newest version. So the most current version (the last chapters) of the Koran is a religion of violence. The Taqiyya keeps moderate Muslims from giving away their terrorist relatives. Bottom line is, whoever has read and believes in the Koran, whether they are violent or not, cannot be trusted to help fight terrorism. Anonymous, from craigslist (believe it or not~)
