Target Corporation will hold a job fair this week for the 200 people the mega-retailer plans to hire for its new store in Canton. The job fair is scheduled for Aug. 15-17 at the Best Western on 5625 O’Donnell St. in Southeast Baltimore. The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 15 and 16, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 17th. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit Target/careers to apply in advance for the event, though walk-in applicants are welcome. Hundreds of prospective candidates are expected to attend. During the event, Target officials will conduct pre-scheduled interviews with applicants and discuss Target’s employee culture. The Target (NYSE: TGT) will anchor the Canton Crossing shopping center currently under construction off Boston Street. The 135,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open Oct. 8.
