Tatana Island just out of Port Moresby is the lucky recipient of a library thanks much to Buk bilong Pikinini and its corporate supporters like City Pharmacy PNG. Australian Foreign Minister Hon. Julie Bishop was in Tatana for the opening of the library and so was CPL Chairman Mahesh Patel. Now for those of you who are unaware of how committed Mr Patel is at giving back to the community, he donates his Board sitting fees at Telikom PNG to Buk Bilong Pikinini not just to help them build more libraries but more importantly get more kids to read more books. Mahesh Patel is one of a kind. Not to mention he employs thousands of Papua New Guineans.
